Andre Salib is a Tokyo based composer / producer for Film, TV and Video Games. Clients include Konami, MTV Japan, Beams, Yoshimoto Kogyo and Benesse Corporation. Born in Tokyo and raised in Cairo, Andre brings together a unique set of experiences which are reflected in his music and compositional style. As the principle songwriter and guitarist for Farida’s Cafe in the early 2000s, Andre developed his band based rock style through 5 albums released from Midi Creative (Ryuichi Sakamoto’s original label). In addition, his electronic music band Super Samir allows him to explore the electronic space mixing punk rock, breakbeats, house, funk and cinematic elements with arresting visuals.
