In the frosty winter of 2019, Dan and Glenn hitchhiked from British Columbia to Alaska, braving cold nights by the roadside. As they questioned their unconventional journey, the experience became the muse for "True North." Boarding their flight home from Juno, they reflected on the strangers who shared kindness, turning a challenging path into a transformative adventure. This song is a tribute to the mysteries of the North, a whispered secret from the road less traveled, inviting you to ponder the cosmic wisdom concealed within its icy embrace.
Consume, Obey, Conform. Stay Asleep. This is what “THEY” are telling us. Don’t make any noise. Don’t fight back. Don’t do anything. It's easy. We sleep. They live.
Many of us have felt like we've been hiding in a hole for the past little while and some of us have even been in complete denial about where we are are and where we’re heading personally. Dayglow is a song about finally breaking free and heading toward the light. It’s a song about knowing that you need to work on yourself, and even though you may be physically alone, you’ll always have friends you can run to.

Indie rockers, Squadcar, are known for their passionate and emotionally charged rock compositions. Originating in Tokyo in 2002, Squadcar quickly became fixtures of the Tokyo Shimokitazawa and Shibuya indie rock circuit, gaining recognition for albums such as "Six Songs About Being Alone," "Valentine," and "Misses."
Following a hiatus from the streets and the transition to an online platform, Glenn and Dan came back in 2022 with a fresh set of songs for a revitalized scene. Collaborating once again with their longtime friend and producer, Andre Salib, Squadcar has crafted a new collection of songs. This is feel-good music. This is Squadcar.
